The Orchard Green is a vision for a rural housing community creating an extension to the existing neighbourhood with a strong identity and a sense of place formed around a village green comprising of a mix of houses and apartments, feathering out to the South-West.
The sites flat topography is seen as an opportunity to create a housing scheme that embellishes ideas of well-being, fitness and family with a strong identity and sense of place that reflects location. Each house frames a green and at the same time forms an integral part of a larger landscape strategy.
Dwellings are designed with a sense of well-being with innovative outdoor space and family centric layouts. We are creating a family orientated green sustainable community that reinforces that masterplans vision for health and well-being through every aspect of its design.
A key objective of the landscape design is to provide a strong native and biodiverse deciduous tree, hedge and evergreen planting palette… We call it “The Green Ribbon”.
